Square Circle Forum

We are a United Methodist Group in Wimberley,Texas. There are 14 of us learning to knit and make squares. The ladies are curious as to how many squares are usually used to make a quilt.

Hi Suzy

We use 35 squares to make a large blanket, 24 to make a small blanket and 12 for a babies blanket. Lovely to hear that you are all learning to knit and make squares, that is lovely!

Hope to hear more from you and your group x x x
So does that make it 7x5, 6x4 and 4x3 squares respectively?
Yes, exactly. :)
Hi, Suzy! We have a Knit-a-Square Circle at Clear Lake Methodist in Houston (Clear Lake City), Texas.
About 22 of us are knitting. Glad to know we have another Texas Methodist group contributing.
Please say hello to all your KASers for us!
