A special request from Ronda

Hello everyone, Ronda recently wrote to ask could we please have some children's socks for these beautiful kids. We need socks for toddlers anything from 2 and up. Please!

Hi Kalai,

 

I think socks might be a little beyond my knitting skills, but I would be happy to send some ready made socks if that would be of any help?  I can pop them in with my next batch of squares and beanies.

In our sizes here 3-13 shoe/sock fits 2-8 year olds and then 1-3 for 10 year olds. Not sure how your sizes are measured though. I will be sending bought socks or you would wait a year for one pair!

Hi again,

 

10 pairs of socks sent via Airmail today (3rd August), so they will arrive as quickly as possible.

 

I have also bought some more that I should be able to send next week.  Went in to the supermarket here today and they had some clearance socks in a 3pk for only $1.50(AU).  Only 2 packs left and plain black, but I grabbed both!

 

I also found a few pairs in nice colours and patterns at a discount store.  I do enjoy a good dig in the bargain bins!
