Hey, Julie, Did you say there is a program that helps you turn images into charts? Can you explain what website or program it is? Thanks so much for this pattern! I'd like to make some images and then knit them and it looks pretty easy to do this!! You are just an amazing, creative person and my hat is off to you!!
Donna, this is the website I used to make the chart;

http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/index.php

Using the "knit landscape" option gives a chart where the blocks are wider than they are tall which is good for working in stockinette.

Have fun! And thank you so much for your kind words. Crochet and knitting have been a wonderful outlet for me to do something creative when I feel like I'm in a real rut. I'm just so glad to have found Knit a Square so I can do something good for these kids!
Thanks Julie. I agree with you on the knitting and getting out of my "own head" for awhile and thinking of these poor children gives me an attitude of gratitude instead of disgust with other people or myself. Have a great day, my friend!
We are so glad to have you too Donna, you are a wonderful person to have on board...I feel the same way as you do...I have a condition with my feet, where they hurt 24/7 and I find when I do all my charity sewing and hand work in the evening, it is so much better then just sitting around and feeling sorry for me....I felt just like you when I joined KAS almost a year ago now...
Hey Julie!!

You are now in the KAS Originals - look under Patterns - Squares under the Patterns tab at the top!!

Let me know if you see anything I should change... and thanks heaps for this very special pattern. I think it will become a KAS classic.
Anne, looks like I made a typo in my pattern, it should say "rows 3 -46 work in stockinette, following the chart" I accidentally put in 45 not 46.

And my last name is spelled Kempton.

Thanks for putting the pattern up on the page! I'm an original designer, wow.
