Square Circle Forum

Dear Friends of Knit-a-Square:
Would you please go to Facebook and check out this AIDS-Out-of-Africa page. This has just recently been started I might add. My very good friend who is an MD is working with another doctor(s) on working on the problem of AIDS in Africa. It is sort of experimental in the early stages but so far the prognosis has been very good as you will read and listen to a short video of it on their page. Rick Stough (my dear friend) is not making any money doing this but just wants to help others in Africa with this very dangerous and fatal disease! I am very proud of him and his work. I told him how Knit-a-Square is very involved in making garments and squares for children in South Africa and I was very involved and that you all would be happy to know what he's trying to accomplish over there as well. He has asked that I tell all my friends to become fans (friends) of this and ask any questions and just see what is being done to eliminate this awful disease. I'm sure you will want to keep up with this site.
Thanks for listening and learning what else is going on over there in Africa and Happy Knitting and Crocheting to all my wonderful friends.
Donna O.

I am glad to hear of Rick's work, I'm sure he's an earthbound angel and that he's inspired to do this. I am guessing you use the search words "Aids Out of Africa" on Facebook? I'll certainly go take a look at it. So much needs to be done for the wonderful people over there. Thanks for telling us about his efforts!

Jeanne :)

Just was over there, linked it to my page, made a few comments and honestly I'm encouraged that they're having such positive results in curing AIDS. I never thought I'd hear that phrase but it seems to be what they are doing. I am wondering if Bill Gates and his wife, who are running that foundation for Warren Buffett to distribute his wealth philanthropically would be interested in helping with this effort? It's sure a worthwhile one!
Hey Donna

I haven't had a chance to read everything yet but I have joined the page. Thanks for sharing x x x
Thanks Kalai and Jeanne:
I really never thought I'd hear of AIDS ever being eliminated either but this seems to be what's about to happen hopefully and prayerfully. Thanks so much for joining the page and taking a look and keep up with this wonderful news. He asked me to tell you all about it because I told him about this site. He is a wonderful man and like the members on here are all wonderful people!! If everyone would be selfish we wouldn't have either site up and no help for the children and people of Africa! Thank God I believe there are more (good) people that want what's best for everyone and are willing to give than to receive!! Hopefully, anyway!!
Happy knitting and crocheting to all my KAS friends!!
