Beautiful blankets. The children will adore them. Always such a great feeling to see the love and care that these blankets represent.

Haha. Yes it is a fluffy lion from Africa theme month

Pics from 31st July :

Wow, so many gorgeous blankets, impossible to choose a favourite, but as usual I am loving the Granny squares blankets!

Totally agree, Wendy.......gorgeous blankets. I started to try and pick a fave, but really, there's just too many.

Thrilled, I spy my 5 SA flag diagonals in the last but one blanket.

Good spotting, great knitting, Diane!!

Estelle has more blankets ready to take in to the KASBarn on Tuesday.

Two fabulous blankets from Audrey. Love your striped diamonds Audrey.
Nothing is wasted at KNIT A SQUARE. Audrey you have done an amazing job joining these “ 20cm “ squares. Thank you and the contributors who knitted these squares.

A stunning blanket from Sue Anousakis. I think the majority of those squares are from Jill Lea FRANCE. Thanks Sue and Jill. We’re heading for another cold spell so all of these blankets are most welcome.

My first blanket from some of the 7000 squares knitted and crocheted by the pupils of Saint Stithians. Thanks again Saints you have done an amazing job. Another 200 children will be warm soon.

Very pretty designs, today.  :))

Wonderful!

Note from Athele:

Wanna play spot the cat? Like, if you can see Josie hiding under my latest collection from Knit-A-Square... another blanket in the making to warm a disadvantaged child. Thanks to St. Stithians College, Jhb for contribution of 7000 squares and Valerie Zalewski, are those your roses?  [Yes these lovely rose squares are from Valerie]
