I was playing with the Red Heart App and stumbled upon a really, really gorgeous blanket based on concentric circles made into a square. I can make circles but have no idea how to square them up so I thought to share it here for all the crocheters to take a look.

I will stick to making smaller circles with less border around them. This is assuming I can figure out a way to square up the circles! :) The blanket squares above have 5 colours in the circles. I would reduce that to 3, I think, and it should work to 8" just fine.
The Ravelry pattern link above is excellent. That project is a stunning asymmetrical blanket. I'm going to give serious attention to the smaller squares (still with circles in the middle) as I think they will be closer to our 8" size.
