What a lovely experience she had !
Permalink Reply by P. Jeanne Haessler yesterday Oh wow, that's lovely to hear! Here's a photo of it.

I noticed how sometimes there are two or three children wrapped in one blanket. The need is so great clearly. When looking at these I was thinking of all the love from around the world that made these squares and hats. Well done everyone! Bless you!
Yes i noticed that there are more than one child to a blanket. I suppose the message is that squares squares squares are needed. Someone from SA may be able to tell us if it was becasue there were not enough or did the children do that themselves ?

Question about knitted squares. I've read that slipping the first stitch on each row allows knit items that need to be seamed to be seamed more easily. As a tight knitter I'm a little concerned about how easily my squares will be able to be seamed by your volunteers... In your experience does slipping the first stitch make any difference? Looking forward to getting started making squares for your charity!
