February 2018 Theme - Celebrate Africa

A Wattled Crane. Listed as 'vulnerable' by the African Wildlife Foundation, with only an estimated 7700 left in the wild. It is one of the most endangered birds in Africa.

Oh I say - this is really lovely!

That is beautiful!

Wow Bev! What a stunner, this is such a beautifully crafted square :))

A fabulous square, Bev. So detailed, so beautifully done.  Thanks, Bev!! You're a star.

Ooooh Bev, your crane is fabulous!!  I love how you create these beautiful pictures with your duplicate stitching.  The children will love them, too ... xo

Bev, your " knitted pictures" should be framed and put on the wall  All of them are so beautiful !

What a teaching opportunity is this! The new owner will be asking what's that eventually and the answer will go out from one child to another. Great Bev.

Hand-warmers embellished to Celebrate Africa.  Take a bear pattern, add mane, viola** LION.
