And if you're still not sure where to begin, these tunes will get those needles, hooks and looms working, I'm sure.....
Please sit with me under Chris's umbrella as we make some LOVE-LY squares to CELEBRATE AFRICA!
Lots of squares, blankets, hand warmers, hats and toys.
Our love and care in every stitch.

Susan, these loveable huggables certainly fit in with this year's theme ... L.O.V.E.  They're adorable :) xo

Three little cuties, Susan. I LOVE me some 'puppy love'.  :))

My humble contribution for this month's theme.

They have a certain elegance that some new owner will be so proud of. Beautiful.

Diana, your zebra-stripe handwarmers are very elegant looking!  Some little one will feel rather regal wearing them :)) xo

I LOVE zebras....these are beautiful, Diana.

You have been very busy, I'm sure....so I thank you very much for your contribution to this theme.

Check out what Diana has been up to......scroll down on the following page and you will see.........

I’ll promise to contribute more , but I’ll take time from knitting black for now.... well...until tomorrow. Sorry, Bev, I can not knit a picture square...

No worries, Diana......I LOVE animal stripes...hint, hint.......lol.

I can do stripes. Yours are the inspiration since the beginning. Thanks.

Celebrating Africa in the colors of the South African flag.

But first, my solution for keeping game pieces together. A 27 inch, round, shoelace to lace onto the blanket square and untie for laundering. The flat shoelaces will not fit thru crochet stitches and nobody sells baby shoe laces anymore!!! The second shoelace cinches and ties the bag closed.

I’m going to suggest in the note that the checkerboard square be stitched as a corner of the blanket. “The easier to play with my dear.”

And The Grand Master of Droughts/ Checkers, Lubabalo Kondlo. A South African hero.  In his Grand Master winners green jacket.

Another action figure, Michael Wamaya, Global Teacher Prize for 2017. He teaches ballet for One Fine Day organization, and if you have not seen the video? It will revive your spirit!

The eagle and the purple rock are not on theme but here they are. All the 'bird in hand' wings are just yarn so they do lay down nicely. The rock is a pattern from Ravelry.

Great Brillances . Thanks, Deborah.

Deborah, your game and storage plan are brilliant!  And I can just imagine the delight it, and your little dolls, will bring to the children.  Amazing !!!!   xo
