Square Circle Forum

Hi K-A-S Friends.

Many of us have enjoyed a good chuckle or interesting moment in the Share a Yarn and Furry Friends discussions, haven't we?
Being the continually evolving community that we are; as of this moment, these two discussions shall become one.

Welcome to FUNNY and FANTASTIC!

Please feel free to share a pic, a funny story or maybe a link to a video about...... anything.
We'd love to know what puts a 'smile on your dial' and a 'song in your heart'.

I have posted a photo of a very unhappy looking Meerkat in the January 2018 theme. I wondered, for fun in this discussion, if we could add a funny caption? We can assume that the Meerkat can be a male or female of any age.

I will start:

"A one day only, 75% off yarn sale and you won't take me?"

This expression kind of reminds me of the look on Meeka's face when I ask her if she needs to outside.  It's as if she is saying "No I don't really care to right now.  The snow is so cold it hurts my feet and it is not easy to piddle while standing on three legs.  I'm sure I can hold it until it warms up next week"

Oh Chris, what a cutie!  I love your captions.  Here's one Amy posted in the January discussion:  "Just how am I going to get to SA?"  I love it, Amy!

May I suggest:  "NO!  I did not buy more yarn.  And NO! you don't need to check my stash!"

"So, you want me to go on holiday for two weeks and leave my crocheting behind......."

Do I look the sort of girl who travels SURFACE mail?

Thanks Patricia, I like it!

I love it, Patricia.

My caption:

"A Teddy Bear's picnic! I'd rather go to a Meerkat Banquet."

You guys are a laugh!!!

My caption:

"So you say you found another meerkat that is bigger and better than me?....but is she as cute????"

"If you think I'm gonna smile for the camera, you're gonna have a long wait..... I've just seen how other dudes just got stuffed  into a parcel!"

This one applies to my toys for sure!

I had a wonderful present from a lady whom I met at one of my Christmas markets. She knits really beautiful things, scarves, mittens, sweaters and so on. This is her living, and she's decided to specialise in high end yarn, alpaca, vicuna and so on. She gave me 2 big garbage bags full of lovely yarn that she no longer needs. She told me that she probably has even more....be still my heart!  and thankyou Alex.
