I thought it would be fun to see how many of us were working on a cuddle now and what color or colors we were using. I will start. I am making one in Royal Blue,

I have two underway right now. one a dark pink and blue the other beige and brown. I using Paton's decor brand for one and the other a Paton's shetland. Both yarns are a mix of acrylic and wool.
Hi Jan
I am making a cuddle for the challenge. Am knitting it using 3 strands of yarn to make it extra toasty and warm. Two are a dusky pink and one is a rusty brown. They look lovely mixed together. Have been following Helen's intructions on the blog and have enjoyed learning the long-tail casting on method. Collar all knitted now and looking forward to Stage 3 when it is posted on Wednesday! How are you getting on?

I am moving along with mine knitting on it some each day as I am not enjoying the heavy yarn as it doesn't slide around easy. I made my collar 6 inches to give the baby more under their head and I have knit another 5 1/2 inches so far. I am using 2 of the Caron One Pounders as it was yarn I had with a receipt from JoAnn's. I have lots of wool from JoAnn's and from China but needed the receipt for the contest. Will use my wool for another one. Double strand of the One Pounders are really heavy.
I'm making a double strand aran weight cuddle with one yarn in a plain green and the other in white, yellow and a lighter green fleck. As I've made a couple before I'm past the rib stage and have remembered how addictive they are!!
Just a note to Jan - I use an Addi Turbo needle which is metal and has a thinnner circular part to it which lets the yarn just glide along. They're not cheap but mine has already paid for itself with the enjoyment that I've had knitting with it.
I have some Addi needles but just not in that size. I am using a metal Knitpicks Options and it has a nice flexable cable part just pulls for me on the needles ends as I have to keep pushing it along on my left needle. probably just knitting too tight.
I have already made one in burgandy.
Almost have mine done. Made it to 30 inches and now ready to bind off. Then I want to fancy it up as it is just one color but bright.
