Brilliant Cathy! Hope you have lots of knitting/peaceful time this weekend.
I'm actually working on Saturday (which is why I've got this afternoon at home) but should have time to myself on Sunday after Church. The weather is rubbish here at the moment, non stop rain so staying in is very attractive!
Just checked out Stage 4 of KASCuddle instructions on the blog, and will finish off in this way if this is what I should do. Just a bit confused because all the photos of other cuddles that I've seen seem to show them with a rounded lower edge and just want to make sure that a straight edge is OK.
The photos you've seen are older photos and the size was smaller. The bottom of the newer, larger Cuddle should be quite flat - like in Helen's finished photo at the top of the post. (red Cuddle with stripes)
Michele, the rounded edge was for the smaller size and for younger babies. Ronda has requested,
now that KAS is including older babies up to nine months, that we give the babies more foot room,
something the rounded edges did not do. This straight edge is new for us, but it is what Ronda
and the caregivers now need and are asking for. Aesthetically, I love the rounded edge, but it is
easy to see that the older babies are more active than the tiny infants and need more room to
move their feet. So, yes, the straight edge is what we are doing now in order to fill the need.
Thanks for checking.
Hey ladies, thanks for putting me straight. Will get busy and finish my cuddle off very soon now. Have a great weekend!
