It is confusing when post offices can't decide what the 'rules' are!
We've had some expressions of uncertainty with regard to how much to declare as the value of a parcel.

Our December Theme
Elaine Jones (UK) has offered us a chance to do some serious stash-busting and use up some of our odds and ends, bits and pieces, leftover yarn. She says, "Just think of all the space you’ll make and money you’ll save … just in time to go yarn shopping in the January sales! Let’s do some stash-busting for the children ..."
On our Square Circle Forum, we share photos of our work, stay up to date with information from KAS S.A., exchange patterns, ideas, and inspiration, and generally just

JANUARY PATTERN OF THE MONTH
To coincide with Amy’s Toy Story theme from January – April 2017
the Pattern of the Month for January is
the KAS Cuddlebug.
This delightful toy has been designed as the mascot for KAS. It will give hours of fun to the child who receives it.

For any of you lucky crafters who made it onto
Santa's 'nice' list and asked for
a cart full of cashmere,
a wagon full of worsted,
a mountain of merino,
or a yacht full of yarn

The November 2016 Squares List is available
Please visit the website: www.knit-a-square.com and
Click on 'Received Squares'
During November Ronda and the Team have been very busy!
220 parcels were received and opened and the total contents were:
18,601 squares (equal to 531 blankets), 505 hats, 326 pairs of handwarmers, 790 toys
and many other goodies (marked under column "Other" in the Squares list).
Because of the large volume of parcels, Ronda and the Team are unable to send personal notification of parcel arrival. Please check the Squares List.
Thank you for your understanding.
N.B: If there are any errors in the squares list regarding your name, city/state or country, please leave a comment HERE to let us know and it will be changed accordingly.
A BIG THANK YOU to the Team in SA, the Gogos
and all the crafting volunteers around the world
who make it possible to warm the children!
We, your Forum Moderators, would like to thank you for your support of KAS, for your constant participation on our Forum, and for the love, warmth, and color you have added to so many young lives. Without you, too many children would be chilly, our volunteers in S.A. would feel valueless, and your Mods would be miserable :)
From all of us to all of you,
A Very Merry Christmas
and may 2017
keep you in stitches!

As my intention for January is to knit and crochet some Cuddlebugs I was delighted to find out that's the featured pattern for the month....Yaaaay! This is an excellent newsletter and thank you so much for all the love and creativity that went into it. Hugs and high fives...or should we just raise our crochet hooks and knitting needles and looms and click them together...like in a toast. Onwards and upwards gals and guys...way to go!!!
