Square Circle Forum

I know that those of you who have knitted KasCuddles will be absolutely delighted to see this photograph - hot of the press - from Ronda yesterday taken in a very derelict shack settlement.  The full story will be in the next ezine, but this will gladden your hearts I am sure.  Ronda also says that the carers were thrilled and have asked for more.  Not all of these children were orphaned, but Ronda said some were clearly unwell.

This is such a gorgeous photo. The KAS cuddles do a terrific job! I hope Helen finds this photo soon.
oh how wonderful! isn't it great that each one is individual, made with love! sweet!
How exciting to see the KasCuddles in use.

The pattern can be found at http://forum.knit-a-square.com/forum/topics/kascuddle-the-knitasquare and we have both a knitted and crocheted version.

Check out the featured album KASCuddle Variations in the Photo section for ideas.
So wonderful to see these!
What a lovely photo, and heart wrenching at the same time. God bless those littlel babies.
What a lovely photo to find when I logged onto KAS this morning. And bless each one of those precious
babies. I hope those wooly KASCuddles keep them warm through the cold months. Now Sandy tells
me it's time to start making them again as the mothers in the creches are asking for more. Thank you so much for the photo Ronda and Sandy. You have made my day!
we are so thrilled with the response Helen. We are just working on a revised wish list hopefully up tomorrow with recent input from Ronda, now that they have shifted the backlog, and distributed so much of the warm clothing. KasCuddles will definitely be on it, and I will hope to have an actual quantity. A bit hard to judge really as we just don't know in advance how many babies could be in any one creche. Still, we will make a sensible guestimate and I am sure that now that we have seen these little souls so snuggly wrapped, it will make making them extra special.
I just realized that I have the perfect yarn for a cuddle in my stash! I will start one today...

:)
Sandy, thank you so much for putting the photo up for us to see. I think it just makes the
KASCuddle more real to see a small baby wrapped in it to see how it functions. I hope
many of our knitters and crocheters will make a few of them to send along with their
squares. Looking forward to the new wish list.........but working hard on squares, squares,
and more squares!
Sandy,
Saw your tweet and had to come check out the photo. The KasCuddles seem perfect, they allow for little arms to move while keeping the bodies nice and warm. I'm sure the carers were incredibly thankful for these wonderful gifts.

These babies are so cute. I love thinking they are more warm now.
fantastic photo

it is good to see the cuddles being used, let's me see how they work. I will consider doing a couple in the future.
xx
