Square Circle Forum

Hi everyone

Debbie Posmontier commented in the USA group to let us know that from June 12th - 20th it is World Wide Knit in Public Day. Check out this link and let's get onto it!

http://www.wwkipday.com

It totally relates to our idea of knit anywhere, any time. Please go to this link and add a photo of you wonderful people and your knitting/crocheting.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

hi Kalai, afraid I am not able to attend any events. Distance/time stops me

BUT I do knit/crochet when on the bus/waiting at appointments. One elderly couple acknowledge me as ''the bus knitter'', when we pass by:))
so, really, I knit in public all year.
xx
That's exactly the sort of thing we are looking for Enid. Not necessarily an event but just knitting in public places! Any chance someone would take a photo of you knitting on the bus? We'd love to put it up on the site x x x
don't think there any camera lenses wide enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))
LOL! Enid you silly! I am "picturing" you in my mind's eye knitting away at the bus stop. It's a charming image. :)
Ha ha ha Enid!
The bus knitter lol. Has anyone every asked you to teach them to knit. Maybe you could get the whole bus knitting squares.

Jan I wish your daughter all the best for a speedy recovery.
I am so so sorry to hear about your daugher I hope all goes well. Not being able to have children would be tough. Its one i don't understand and never will. What Gods will is behind this but I just guess I have to have faith and believe God will take care of those in this predicament. I will go say some hail Marys right now I am Catholic. I pray you are all granted peace and Gods love at this trying time. Please keep us in touch with what is happening. Lots of love
What they said was a twisted ovary but didn't tell us until she was sent to her regular Dr. today she has a lg.cyst growing off her ovary causing the twist. She had one basketbakk size several yrs. ago and had to have it and ovary removed. This one is approx 16x10 cm. They are doing a blood test for CA and then tomorrow or Thurs,. when results back will know what they are doing. Surgery locally if benign on Mon. and if not will be sent to a specialist in city. Had hernia from last one so has mesh as incision was so lg and now they have to decide what to do about the mesh when they go in. Susan is only 32 and no children and wants one so bad. I'll just be grateful if it is benign. Her husband is so great thru all this and very supportive. If benign they may be able to save a part of the ovary. Appreciate all the prayers and notes of support. It is hard watching your children in pain but have to remain strong for her.
My thoughts are with you and your daughter. I'm sure the time can't pass fast enough for all of you. Best of luck!
