Square Circle Forum

they are so so easy to do! any size needles, any wool, cast on 2 and knit them, then increase in 1st stitch on next 2 rows until you have 4 stitches. Then every row after increase in 2nd stitch at beginning of each row.  When side measures 8 inches, knit 1 complete row, then decrease 1 stitch at beginning of every row (I do mine 2nd stitch in).  When doing stripes, I wait to introduce 2nd colour until I have 6 stitches on needle, then when on the decreasing side of square, when 6 stitches left knit same colour.  Increasing/decreasing 2nd stitch in gives a nice edge which is easy to sew......have fun!
(p.s. from Jeanne--I know others have posted similar patterns but it's not here so I'm adding this one  :)  )
