Knitting tip
You may have known about this from the time the craft of knitting was invented.
I was gifted some yarn. Some of it was quite coarse so I used some on a vest then I have knitted squares with two rows of coarse yarn and two rows of soft yarn. I didn't want the little kids having a coarse blanket.

It is always fun combining yarns and can often mean that yarns get used up that would sit at the bottom of the stash otherwise-well done!
