Square Circle Forum

I've just come across the coolest square in JudyK projects from the Knit-A-Square group on Ravelry.

The Peace Sign Granny Square and instructions can be found on her blog:

Thanks Jan.

I'm not sure why sometimes it auto links here in Ning and other times it's not clickable.

thanks, Jan, your link worked.   I did try c&p, but no joy.
That's very cute though would it be too political for KAS? I dunno, I just come from the hippie generation and back then it was very political. Maybe it's just a cute decoration now? Just wondering.

That was my first thoughts too. In the UK it's the symbol used by CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament).

Yes, I suppose it could be called a "peace" sign, but I see your point about political connection

Just wondering, sometimes a sign in one culture is harmless but not in another, as you just pointed out.  It's a very pretty square though!
