I like the effect of this broken rib/swing needle combination, and it seemed like a good way to use up some rather dull grey yarn. The result says 'boy' rather than 'girl' to me, so I thought it fitted this month's theme! (Only two pairs so far, but there will be more - though probably not twenty :)) )

Oh Lesley, these are lovely! I really like the way colors alternate one row at a time with the swing needle technique :) And you're right - it's a great way to use up bits of not-so-bright yarns by combining them with the brighter colors. These look great :) xo
