WARM HANDS WARM HEARTS
This month, we aim to warm little hands with handwarmers, and send
them along with a heart in a square to show our love.
Here are some super examples to inspire you:
The children always need toys. Please pop one or two in your parcel if you can:

Aww, Amy........your little elephants are just soooo adorable. LOVE the pinky yarn....and the handwarmers, so bright and cheery. :))
Amy, you have outdone yourself! I love those neon elephants! Such cute, huggable friends. And stripey handwarmers to keep warm and fun at the same time, so you can play with your elephant in comfort.
Amy your handwarmers are beautiful and they are the first for this month ! Your little pink elephants are beyond cute !
Very cute, Amy. I love those elephants and the handwarmers.
Sharon, that is so clever, two hearts in each square ! They are lovely hearts in gorgeous colours.
I love that - where did you find the pattern? It almost looks like a cable.......
Thanks, Rebecca. The heart pattern uses 6 different cables, but is only 12 rows, repeating only 10 of them. I am not a very experienced knitter, so I didn't realize just how much those cables would pull in. My first attempt had to be ripped out, and a 2nd try made on bigger needles. I added a border in crochet chain stitch to get the square up to 8 inches.
Here is the link to the pattern, both written and charted.
Thank you very much for sharing!
Sweet hearts, Sharon.....and very pretty colours. :)) LOVE your squares.
Lovely squares. I like the intertwined hearts.
