Square Circle Forum

Ronda and the team continue to bring us wonderful photographs of the children receiving their blankets, hats and garments. Along with many story snippets of their experiences at the various centres.  These photographs confirm to the world that by taking direct action our members are making a difference

HAPPYFEET IN THE BUSHKOPPIES

INFORMAL SETTLEMENT

Edith "introduced" us to a little guy of 2 who has been with them since
birth - suffering from brain damage and from the beginning unable to move his limbs at all ... and she already has him standing straight up on his feet (so long as he was able to lean back against her, or hang onto her hand).

They loooove their cuddlebugs !

THEMEBALIHLE - NTIRISANO DISTRIBUTION PHOTOGRAPHS - please be aware that some of the photographs are a bit depressing, however, this distribution certainly made a difference to 37 children that day!

Great that we were able to distribute in such a deprived settlement, the children all look so sweet cuddling their new belongings, imagine getting so much all in one day !  I love the big bows wrapping their blankets just like presents !

Totally agree, Sue. I love the pics of the children with one hand/arm on their blanket and the other clutching a toy......so heartwarming.

Some of the children look so sad, I would like to be able to give them a hug.  Hopefully they will feel 'hugged' a lot by their new blankets and toys though.  I love to see that our contributions are making a difference where it is much needed though.

Bless these little children, I hope a visit from the KAS team makes them feel special and loved. To live in such conditions, I can't imagine how difficult it is both mentally and physically. I am so happy to see a little one with one of my Warren Bears (10th picture down, an aqua bear with pink muzzle and heart, one of the first I made). I've been waiting for such a picture, makes every last stitch worthwhile xx

Oh yes, Kathy, I see it. Congrats on spotting him. I LOVE it when someone spots some love that they have sent to the children.  :))

Fantastic Kathy, to spot a warren bear. As you say it does make every stitch so worthwhile :))

Such poverty, in every picture, and so many sad faces. It's good to know that we were able to distribute here. Perhaps we have delivered the first little ray of sunshine into their lives.

THEMBALIHLE - LITTLE TODDLERS GROUP :

Lovely! Also in pictures 5 & 7 I can see one of my blankets!  It is "Indiegold" and is the one in Royal Blue and Gold (plains and stripes).

You must be thrilled, Wendy to see a child with one of you blankets !! I'm .
