Princes William and Harry highlighting the AIDS orphans
With the current coverage of the World Cup in Africa, British television is swamped with programmes about South Africa and what a beautiful and special country it is.
But I was pleased and amazed to see a report on a joint visit to South Africa by Princes William and Harry, with one of their main aims being to highlight the problems of AIDS amonst the young of SA and the repercussions of the awful disease. It is quite unusual for them to travel together so hopefully their visit will get lots of coverage and bring the discussion about the problems to the fore. Lets hope their visit will ahve a big impact.x

This is wonderful to hear about. I too hope their visit will make it more high profile. International news tends to be very much "the flavor of the moment", forgetting that problems go on for years. I shall await developments and hope this results in important initiatives in Africa. Thanks for letting me know! :)
