South African ABC Blanket Design Idea

I was trying to see if I could make a pattern using the ABC square patterns and the South African flag, and this is what I came up with.  Do you think it's close enough?

Rachel, this is a great pattern !  Definitely looks like a S.A. flag.
well done!!!!!!!
What a great idea - looks terrific!
I think this is much better than close enough Rachel. It's fantastic!!
Thanks for the positive input, ladies!  I will try it as soon as I can get all of the correct colors;  I have a hard time finding wool sweaters in nice, bright colors, but it has happened on occasion!  Also, I'm still trying to use up some of the yarn I already have, but I'll put this on the list of things to do =)!
Well, I finished another alphabet blanket!  I don't like the colors on this one as much as I liked the rainbow blanket, but I was trying to use yarn that I already had since I need to save my money for postage and not buy any new yarn until I get my current box sent!  The gray squares don't have letters on them, and I'm wondering if I should add some of that bright aqua fun fur to those few squares to liven them up;  any opinions?  And my enthusiastic helpers wanted to show you how a 35 square blanket would fit an average 4 year old and a slightly tall 6 year old =).
Its lovely as are the models! All the better for being a stashbuster. The alphabet looks great. It really stands out.Postage seems to have gone up all around the world. That's the downside of being a global village!! I paid $50 to send 35 squares where as last year it would have been about $38-$42 .I am really into using my stash now rather than buying yarn.

Rachel,

Does your name mean "blanket diva'?  These are fabulous!

Hooray!  I finally finished the South African ABC blanket!!  Here it is:

well done, Rachel!!!!!!!!!!!
An amazing blanket, Rachel! I always love your puff stitch squares. What brand of yarn did you use for the green? I've been trying to find that colour everywhere.
Most of that yarn came from sweaters I took apart.  I was REALLY surprised to find that color of green in a sweater!  So, sorry!  It was completely random!
