Sit and Knit for KAS at our Flea Market
Hello all!
My friend Hanna and I are planning a "Sit and Knit for KAS" event next Sunday, Sept 27th, at a flea market at a local university. We have rented a table and will provide needles and yarn with squares already started. We will invite shoppers to sit and knit with us and take information about KAS. I am going to use the KAS logo to create some posters or banners to decorate the table and we will sell some flea market items to raise money for postage. We hope for a warm, sunny day! I'll post pictures after the event.

I agree, this is a super idea! I hope you have great weather and a lovely turnout and really get to spread the word about KAS. So many people want to have a hand in making a difference in the world and nowadays KAS is a great way to do just that. :)

Hi Debbie, don't forget you can download leaflets from the site which you can print and cut up (I think I have done leaflets that are two to a page and one version that is 3 to a page, plus posters and also the KAS guide which is a sort of question and answer leaflet that people might like to browse as they pass your table. You just scroll to the bottom of the page and fill in the form and the the thank you letter gives you five items you can download including the rulers. I wonder if I could post you some rulers and whether they could get there in time (hmmmm 6 days - worth a try do you think? If so could you email me your address?)
