Hello lovely KAS people
I have a challenge to put to you.
We understand that people are frustrated by the Square Vest Pattern and wish it to be taken off the site, the thing is, it is the page that gets us the most traffic. Therefore, taking it down would lose potential KAS people and therefore warmth for those beloved children. So, I have a challenge for all you knitters out there. We need the Square Vest Pattern to be re done, we need it to be knitted half again as long, and in garter stitch only. It needs to be pretty and simple and we need a photograph of it. The neck hole also needs to be big enough to fit a two year olds head (almost the same size as an adult). So knitters out there, how do you feel? Will you help me to replace the pattern and not lose the very important traffic that we get every day from having the pattern on our website?
Let me know how you feel. Thank you!
P.S. Here is the link to the old pattern: http://www.knit-a-square.com/free-knitting-pattern.html
We need to do this ASAP so that I can replace it ASAP.

Kalai, I have completed a vest and put it in photos. Is this what is required?
Permalink Reply by P. Jeanne Haessler on April 14, 2011 at 3:44am Jeanne, this should fit a 3 year old and maybe bigger. underarm circumference is 24 inches, and lengthis 16 inches.
I was following Kalai's instructions from 10 days ago.
Hi Enid
Thank you so much for your hard work. Please will you email me the pattern? Only thing is, we need a better photo to be able to put it on the website, do you think you could get a clearer photo? We are going to use your pattern and Christine has some patterns too. Thank you so much everyone for all your hardwork!
Sorry Enid my email is kalai@knit-a-square.com
