The above link will take you to the charity page of The Knitter magazine which is running a campaign to raise money for Refuge, a charity that provides safe houses for abused women and children. For a small donation you can download 24 patterns for knitted squares that have been designed by famous knitwear designers. Some of them are really unusual and although they are only 6" by 6" I am sure that they could be enlarged by using a heavier weight yarn.

I am going to try the 10st stash busting blanket and see how far I get. I loved the knitted advent items too - and the knitted purse which will be great for presents - what to do first???
Permalink Reply by CHARIS GRIFFIN on December 29, 2011 at 3:21am Pam , I have tried the link and it has obviously been changed-I think probably because there will be a new charity campaign this year. When I have time I shall try to upload the patterns | managed to download-I am afraid my brain is still suffering from post Christmas work stress! I am glad you like Frankie's patterns so much-I found her through Ravelry and agree with you-her patterns are amazing- I too have a list and am not sure which to start first! She is so generous sharing them with everyone.
