How to change colours in round 2: With first loop of colour B on hook, YO with A, and complete FPDC (remembering to change back to colour B to complete the stitch)
It sounds complicated but when you have tried it once it will become clear. ( See attachments below)
Also, if you are unsure of the pattern, make it the first time using one colour.
Stitch:
FPDC (front post double crochet )Yarn over. Insert hook around post of stitch from right to left. Yarn over, complete DC as usual http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIu4HfUpvsY
Great pattern for small balls of yarn. Once you have made the square change colours as you wish !

Hi Linda
The finished squares look so colourful. I thought I may give it a try but I don't understand the term FPDC, I am assuming this is an American pattern - please help!
Many thanks, Barbara

Thanks Christine. I shall add the link to the pattern.
I am dismayed that you are unable to follow the pattern. I shall think on this and find a solution....can't have a KASister unable to do a pattern !!!

Thanks for all your help.
I used Google to find the meaning FPDC. I could work out the DC (double crochet) part, but thanks to Christine for the English version of the term.
Unfortunately I have not learnt the FP (front post) stitch yet, but I'm trying.
I still find crochet patterns like another language, however my teacher Keri is so patient she will simplify a pattern for me.
Being a glutton for punishment I gave Tunisian Crochet a go this week (thanks to UTube). It comes out nice and thick, but as ever I need plenty of practise.
Happy crocheting, Barbara xx
