If you are thinking about sending a few dollars to KAS this is the time to do it ! With the Canadian dollar at an all time high, sending U.S. dollars will be quite inexpensive.
For example:
$10 US = $9.78 CAD (April 21 rate).

Very good point! I hadn't thought of that. I'll try to send a bit extra before the dollar dips again. Right now I'm skint due to a crumbling tooth filling and a $75 fix. Drat. But I'm glad I have my tooth! :D

Ouch Jeanne ! Not only did the dentist fix your tooth, he/she also "fixed" your wallet :-) We don't have dental insurance since my husband retired. We decided to do "pay as you go", which as you know, can be quite expensive !!!
