Thanks, Joanne!  Very soon I will be adding a KasShop board to our Pinterest page.  My hope is, that by adding Pins of the various items we offer, some non-Kasfolk will feel a heart tug and purchase something even if they never make  a square or become members. We need to find as many ways as we can to bring more $$ into KAS

What a great idea to have a Pinterest page. Well done!

Thank you Maudie!!!  The more followers and re-pins we have, the better it is for KAS

Thanks Anne. I am now following all boards and I have repined a beautiful photo of the little girl with the doll onto my Wool-Girl board.

Hi Jennifer.

Here is another fundraising success  from Elaine (in Tassie).

Also some of the ladies from the US and Canada hold fundraiser days through their church....and please do let us know if you have any successful fundraising events as we are always looking for ideas to help meet the postage costs.  :))

Thanks for suggestions for postage fund-raising. We will see what we can do and let you know how it goes. Any other ideas would be welcome.

What do others do for postage?

Hi Jennifer. You might like to check out Sonja Shaw's page. Sonja and her 'gumnuts' make things to sell to raise money for postage. Here is one example: http://forum.knit-a-square.com/photo/gumnuts-fundraisers-making-hea...

If you click on the members tab at the top of this page and then type in Sonja's name you will be able to see photos of items the gumnuts make and sell...very inspiring.  :))

Jennifer I wish I could help. I published 'Wool-Girl and the Balls of Wool' children's book to raise funds for KAS and postage money but it has not yielded a profit. Some of the ladies have morning teas or stalls in local community markets etc.

I joined this group today, as I became a member of KAS last week.I thought it would be good to be in touch with like-minded ladies. I have made 2 pairs of the fingerless gloves as a change from squares and they are easy and turn out well. I have been knitting squares all this year as a craft friend was doing it. So she sends them off with hers when she gets enough. Does anyone have ideas on how to raise postage money. We were selling hand made cards but that is less popular now.
