Square Circle Forum

I have an old chunky knit Knitmaster machine which also has a knit radar attachment for creating garments to any size, shape and pattern. To do this you work a tension square for the yarn and stitch pattern. which gives the number of stitches and rows for 10cm. Simply doubling the number of stitches and working double the number of rows on the scale gives a perfect 8" square. When the garment is done its easy then to knit up a few squares with leftover wool!

I do have a knit radar on one of my machines, but none of the mylar sheets to use with it, so I've never actually tried to use it. I still have to swatch though, and this is an excellent point about keeping those swatches for KAS! :D
