Square Circle Forum

Well I thought I might as well get this started for the year 2011. I'm sure with all the new US members we will beat the last 2 year's totals.

24 Squares

3 Hats

I have a birthday coming up, so I'm sure someone will give me some $$ so I can mail off my latest package of 100% Squares & hats.  :)

I blush to admit that, after knitting for KAS since I guess August of 2010, I finally mailed my first KAS package TONIGHT!  I feel such exhilaration!  WHOOPEEEEE!  This package contained 58 squares and 7 hats.  I'm new to knitting and crocheting so I thought I'd make them all out of 100% wool yarn.

Had to use my own box, and sent everything via Priority Mail International, which the very kind clerk who helped me said was the cheapest option.  It cost $56.10 to send 6 pounds, 14.4 ounces, but, on the upside, a.) it's supposed to arrive in six to ten days and b.) I ACTUALLY MAILED SOMETHING TO KAS!

I'm so excited, and feel also a renewed ambition to churn out those squares, since they're no longer a (dubiously effective) decoration keeping the entire family from sitting on the sofa and love seat in our TV room, but rather blanket segments that will actually keep children WARM!

GREAT JOB!  Keep up the good work!

New total:

188 squares

41 hats

1 pr. gloves

7 pr. socks

We lost the cuddles somewhere down the line............
Last count showed 5 cuddles on 1/22. Must still be the same?

We lost them in the final list........no cuddles listed.

I would re-list but I'm in a time crunch.
