Polly - sorry to be so long answering - I think it is fine to sew the side seams - as long as the customs slip just says For charity - NCV

What a great variety! I have included a couple of my own design in the last bundle that I gave to Zanny. They still need the side seams sewn together. Would it be a good idea in future to sew them up completely or not? Will this alter the custom duty that is payable?
