Gosh, what speed, thank goodness for the internet !!!

I have looked at the pattern, is it also possible to put remaining stitches onto a pin and keep the garment all in one ? a bit like the basic knitted vest ? I will give it a go, I think.

Many thanks

Jayne

Hi Jayne .. this is knitted from a pattern I actually designed!  It is very simple and its knit one row and then purl 2 knit back one purl two for every other row.   Its quick to do and seems to have been well used on this site.. there is a link to it if you would like to knit it under Patterns, slipovers vests etc ...hope you manage to find it... we have opened an album to see how many times its been used.  Best wishes, Grace

Grace give your friend "high fives" from me.  This is lovely!  Great, great work!  This will be so welcomed by an AIDS orphan in South Africa.  It will give life giving warmth...and it's so cheery too. :)
