This turned out much bigger than I intended. It was meant to be 12ply but is more like bulky. To quote kalai It will fit someone!

Oh the yarn Jeanne was more expensive than I usually go It was a 400 gram and I though it was on special but wasn't. Its a nylony sort of thing and I think they can get pretty hot so I won't use it again. However, I loved the colours.
Fancy buttons are pretty expensive here but I got a large packet for about $5 a couple of years ago and Yay! I get to use them for KAS.
Another beautiful cardi. One thing about knitting for KAS as you said, it doesn't matter the size as it will fit someone. Love the buttons.
I came across a bargain bin of buttons: 25 cents for a 3 button/4 button card. I'm kicking myself I didn't buy more. Though I did buy $2 worth.
Comment by P. Jeanne Haessler on February 15, 2012 at 2:18am Absolutely it will fit somebody. The older children are just as needy and someone will love this. The yarn is beautiful, what is it called, do you know? Well done indeed and I love the heart buttons. Our local sewing shop's fancy buttons seem to run about $5 per pair of buttons so next time I'm city bound I'll keep a look out for fancy cheaper buttons!
