Thanks for all your lovely comments everyone.
The pattern is free on Ravelry (3 Tams). This was the third of the designs, and was very simple to do.
The fact that you use a variegated yarn for the contrast makes you look cleverer than you really are!!

A star pattern on top, wow this is gorgeous and doesn't that variegated oatmeal colour just glow next to that pink? Superb work, well done indeed!
