These squares are fantastic, Zanny! I just love the bright colours and all the different stitches are terrific-I think I will have to put my crochet down for a while and have some fun playing with stitches! Thanks for the inspiration.

Wow lovely ladies thank you so much for all your encouraging remarks.  It makes me want to knit, knit, knit!!  I have not used patterns to date - but was looking at some on the net yesterday - and oh wow was I inspired.  Actually some of the designs I saw would be too complicated for me, I am sure.  There certainly are some legend  knitting brains out there!!   Am going to print off some of the patterns and give them a go.  It's a really wonderful challenge idea isn't it?    Thank you again - have a wonderful day.  After days of rain - Daylesford has now had 2 bright warm spring days - diiiiiiiiviiiiiiiine!!!   Will definitely be knitting on the decking today!! x x x
