heaps of hats

Still using oddments but I had a change from squares. I used the Samaritans' Purse pattern for Stretchy Hats http://www.operationchristmaschild.org.uk/knitting-patterns
as several other members have.

What a stack of winners....stretchy and warm, a bright bonanza of colors and stashbusting to boot, plus you got a break from making squares.  We all need breaks.  I will often do a hat or vest when I need a break from doing squares.  These are fabulous!

I've been wanting to make hats instead of squares lately too.
