Ok the photo doesn't do it justice They are beautiful squares each 8" on a smalll blanket I bought. I think it was Anne who suggested putting fabric on the back but it is really only a 4 by 4 square blanket. In view of the challenge I think I will unpick them and send as individuals. Each square is reallly thick as the stitches have been made by binding over and over somehow.

Interesting pattern. They will certainly add interest to a blanket.

Comment by P. Jeanne Haessler on February 2, 2012 at 5:01am It almost looks like the base was a grid, like a rug yarn or something and they then completely covered it. Maybe originally they were thinking of an area rug? Certainly intriguingly different. Either way, these are lovely aren't they? Separating them is a great idea as Ronda likes to put one special square per blanket if she can and these sure qualify. They're definitely February Lace too.
How intriguing! They really are different but lovely nontheless.
What a great find!!
