Comment by Maureen (Maudie) Anne Bryan on April 28, 2012 at 5:53pm That is an amazing photo. By now they are probably all keeping a child warm.
Comment by Pam Johnson on January 5, 2012 at 10:18am Thanks Susan - but I am mostly a packer and a poster - so many ladies contributed to this collection.
Oh my gosh! What a wonderful feast for the eyes and a wonderful delivery in S. Africa! Ms. Pam, you're a blessing!
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment by Wendy on January 3, 2012 at 12:35pm WOW, what a lovely big batch of squares! Hats off to all the contributors. I got out my trusty calculator and it tells me that is enough squares to make 48.5 blankets! That is almost 50 warmed children, well done!
Comment by CHARIS GRIFFIN on January 3, 2012 at 3:03am What a great picture to start the New Year-well done to everyone involved!
Comment by Bev Jeffery on January 2, 2012 at 8:39pm I echo Jeanne's sentiments. Thanks to all those lovely folk who lovingly created warmth for the vulnerable children.
Wow! If my math is right (50-50 chance of that. lol.) that makes about 48 and a half blankets...just fantastic.
Pam, Pam and The Merchant House restaurant...an enormous pat (luckily for you, it is just a metaphorical one) on the back for such a tremendous effort in your own knitting efforts, and in getting these prepared (with some of the upsizing etc. you have had to do) stored and packed ready to send.
Comment by P. Jeanne Haessler on January 2, 2012 at 10:39am We need to send out 30 halos to those 30 angels who did this tremendous effort! Do thank them for us, everyone involved. This is stellar, just first rate!
Comment by Mary Kristel Lokken on January 2, 2012 at 7:54am Amazing!
Comment by Pam Johnson on January 2, 2012 at 7:18am Thanks to Pam Antink and everyone at The Merchant House restaurant in Leominster they were stored, transported and delivered to Jigsaw St Albans before Christmas. Biggest thanks to everyone who knitted them - over 30 different ladies from this neck of the woods.
