Anneke said… Hi Carmen!
Hartelijke groetjes en keep on knitting! Anneke
Hi Carmen, good for you ! You are doing such lovely squares that adding one more a week would be wonderful.
P. Jeanne Haessler said… Welcome to KAS, Carmen from the middle of Canada. I'm a crocheter unless I'm loom knitting a hat. My mum was a whiz at knitting, she could watch tv, talk and never miss a stitch on a fancy lace pattern. I love your colorful stripes...the kids need all the visual stimulation they can get, plus cheery colors.
I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above and if you click on Photos above, you will see items that are heading to Africa, in all colors and shapes, plus those that have arrived there. If you click on Groups, above, you can join any groups you wish, to chat with. Any questions just PM me. :) So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win. And now we’re helping out over in Zimbabwe too and they need everything over there. I just love making a real difference in a child’s life. So welcome aboard!
Welcome :)
Christine Johnson said… Welcome to the forum Carmen. If you knit three squares a week you will have made four blankets to warm four children by the end of the year!
