 I have finally posted 28 squares and 2 beanies today. It cost $20.40 for seamail (airmail would have cost me $37.40, is this right?). Praying they will all arrive safely in 10 weeks. Is there a cheaper way to send the squares to SA?See More

"You can prevent the curling by knitting a garter stitch border all four sides. It works and aslo looks good."

"Yes it is a struggle Cheryl to knit and watch the TV. I think a lot of us knit/crochet whilst we watch TV. I have to keep plain squares for whilst I am watching something on TV I really need to concentrate on, well done on this pattern."

I have knitted 20 squares from the Great Granny's remnant wool. I am sure she would have been pleased to know they did not go to waste but it help make a difference to someone's life. First Ever Checked Square

This is my first ever checked square. I am rather happy with it except it curls up around the edges & it takes more concentration especially when knitting & watching TV!!!!
