I know what you mean about the heat - my knitting 'turnover' has slowed right down. It's so nice we are just out in the garden after work pottering around - lovely! we have to make the most of it whilst it's here don't we??
Enjoy your walks, Kathyx
Heide Nöchel said… Thank you, Grace, for your answer. It is so kind to write in German and I "got" really all of it. I wrote this mail with my question to all German members and I look forward to their answers to collect them.
Have a nice day!

Ich habe auch gleich eine Frage: Welchen Weg wählt ihr, um eure "Produkte" preisgünstig nach Südafrika zu schicken?
Vielen Dank im Voraus für eine Antwort,

Hello Grace
Thank you so much for the idea re: Tesco vouchers. I swapped vouchers and filled a basket with vests and socks, I'll make sure to do that again!!. I have just parcelled everything up to go tomorrow - hope it all arrives quickly. Thanks again Grace, hope you are well. Love Kathyx
Hello Grace - hope you are well.
I am so excited ! just had a good look at the latest KAS News and spotted a little one wearing my 'Grace Vest number 2!'. Unfortunately not wearing the matching hat and can't see the matching bear, but never mind eh? so exciting. Although it does look a bit big for him as it's slipping off his shoulders....bless! I'm currently working on numbers 18-20, 1 done, 2 more to go - love your pattern. Kathyxx

Patricia M Smith said… Brampton - it's in Cumbria, I actually live 7 miles away in the village of Gilsland, on the Northumberland/Cumbria border and I'm on the Northumberland side. Gilsland, with a population of 600 including outlying farms has the dubious distinction of having 2 MEP's 2 MP's 2 Country councils and 3 parish councils! Not that that's new, the Roman wall also divides the village so only half of it was part of the Roman Empire! Now you know.
Lovely to see you make baby jumper/dresses. Where to you send them? I'm interested cos they are very popular to knit and I'm always being asked, (I run the Teddies for Tragedies website) who would like them. As I write I'm seeing all the other photos, maybe I put up some myself?
