Wow, what beautiful work. I find making a hat just a little tight for me works well for a child. There are measurements for various ages' hat sizes here on KAS. Just beautiful work, wow.

That is a really neat cardigan! Personally I find it quite a challenge to pick-up-and-knit all those stitches for a cardigan neckband. Great work!

What a smart set! I always worry, too, about what size to make the hat to fit a jumper or a slipover. But at least we know that they will always fit a body and a head - even if they aren't on the same child!

I have written my letter. I was a member of Oprah before. If I may be bold; how do you know that only 20 people have written? I tried to reach out to a few people and was so disappointed with my response, here was a response from one…

Hi Joanne

Welcome to our warm KAS community. It's great to see you. We hope you will enjoy the forum and your region's group. You should join the Downunder group!

There are lots of great discussions going on in the forum, including the monthly challenges.

We have a challenge every month, if you want to get involved please do. It's not compulsory at all but some of the work done is just lovely. Have a look at the November challenge - the SLIP-OVER (under challenges in the main forum) this will give you an idea of some of the fantastic work this community is doing for the children of South Africa. Here is a link to the November challenge photos:

Happy Knitting!

Kalai & Sandy
