Hello all!

Hi, I just wanted to come and say hello. Im new to KAS and I just want to say what an amzing idea this is and I cannot wait to get started. Im a human being and a mother and feel utterly sick at the injustice and crimes against humanity that many people are subjected to. I hope to knit many things that are of use and do all I can. I also hope to meet other people through KAS! KizziSee More

Welcome to KAS, Kizzi from way over in Canada. I think you've got colder weather than we do right now!  Stay bundled up eh?  I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too.  Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above.  To reach the Discussions just click Forum above and if you click on Photos above, you will see items that are heading to Africa, in all colors and shapes, plus those that have arrived there. If you click on Groups, above, you can join the enthusiastic UK group or any groups you wish, to chat with.  Any questions just PM me. :)  So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.

And now we’re helping out over in Zimbabwe too and they need everything over there.  I just love making a real difference in a child’s life.  So welcome aboard!

Hi Kizzi, Welcome to the KAS forum and I hope you will enjoy being part of this friendly & lively community. Do you knit or crochet or both? Around the world caring people are all taking direct action and team-working with the Ladies of the Soweto Comfort Club - it is making a difference to many parentless children.  When you've had a chance to look around the site you would be very welcome to join the UK group for more local news and chat.

You can also personalize your own page by clicking on the My Page tab on the menu.  Also you can access Settings on this page and set your privacy terms.  For questions click on the Forum tab and then KAS - Questions, Answers and Help.

Very glad your Google search directed to you our global knitting family!  Check out the New Member Guide by clicking the "Main Page" tab above. There you will find all kinds of information about KAS. Another great section to look over is the Photo tab - everyone is so supportive of the work on display.

Hi Kizzi

Welcome from sunny Australia.

This is indeed an amazing global knitting community to belong to. You will find that we are a supportive, friendly bunch and if you have any queries, please don't hesitate to ask, there is always someone able to answer you.

You will find many lively and interesting discussions, not all knitting/crocheting related, by clicking on the 'forum' tab at the top of the page. By clicking on the 'photo' tab, also top of the page, you will see lovely, creative, inspirational items completed by your fellow KASers.

This is a wonderful cause and it is so easy for us all to make a difference to the lives of these vulnerable children...every little counts. So glad you joined us.

Once again...Welcome and enjoy!
