Lynn's Page

I write pages on Squidoo.com where I can make royalties. These royalties go directly to KAS . I love putting these pages together and it is a nice way for me to be able to help generate some dollars for KAS.

I hope after reading this you will go see the pages, even clicking on the page and visiting it helps believe it or not :)

Thank you

Hi Lynn!  I found my way onto Squidoo, and have started making lenses.  I hope to be as successful as you seem to be with this site!  Here is one of my lenses: http://www.squidoo.com/the-kindness-of-strangers

Let me know what you think, and if you have any advice!!

Thanks so much for the direct pattern link Lynn.  You were right, I hadn't found it yet!  I have now bookmarked it and it's near the top of my list.  Owch, gallbladder...I've heard of everything from specific juice fasts that soften stones up, to laser blasting to just diet.  I sure hope you find a method that works for you and your troubles ease up with it. Owch indeed!

Thanks to all for the nice welcome.  Yes, I live in the Bellevue area south of I-90.  I knit and crochet - more knitting then crocheting lately.  I also make quilts.

Hi Lynn,

If your daughter is interested I have an excellent recipe for ginger tofu.  Even our carnivore friends enjoy it.....so you might too :-)

I just checked out the dolly donations site again and there is a lot to read but I did find that if we want to start a drive to do the dolly for a charity... yes it is ok and to let her know and the KAS name for making the dolly will go onto her site....this is also a plus for KAS to have I would think....have the pattern in hand and am going to make up a dolly.

It is so nice to hear from you and that you are interested in a sewing page for those of us that still would like to be creative for KAS but dearly need a fun easy brake from knitting and crocheting...if you are up to finding out more about starting a page I will gladly support the thread...the dolls are easy and can be as creative as one would like to go for...each for a boy or girl...they also will mail easy....we have Christmas 2011 to aim for over the months this year and could see about a goals dead line mailing date for the dolls if this goes ...which I think others will enjoy doing on the side...they do not have to be mailed out until the due date if one saves up the many or few they make over the months. Let me know and I will help if I can or at least post pictures on the page of dolls made from my odds and ends I happen to have tons of.

Hi Lynn,

Thanks for the comments about the blanket.  My friend's mother was a beautiful knitter.
