First Knitting Meeting
Lauren and I are holding our first knitting and movie night tonight for our group, Knit a Square Kearsarge. We are hoping to complete our first 50 squares by the end of this month!

A very nice first batch! Be proud of yourselves girls, these are lovely. I've used that variegated blues and pinks yarn myself, it really is a nice one. These are all quite charming and warm too, no gaps, just all comfy cozy. :) Bravo!

Isn't it a great feeling when you see those first squares completed? I love your colours and the pattern in the red square looks really interesting. I've got a bit more ambitious with patterns now & it does become addictive!

There are lots of great discussions going on in the forum, including the monthly challenges.
We have a challenge every month, if you want to get involved please do. It's not compulsory at all but some of the work done is just lovely. Have a look at the November challenge - the SLIP-OVER (under challenges in the main forum) this will give you an idea of some of the fantastic work this community is doing for the children of South Africa.
