I agree, what beautiful examples of how we can fancy up a square...and such great teaching tools too for the children. You are very creative, what lovely work!

Hard for me to tell but are two of those lavender ones done in seed stitch? My mother was a super knitter and it looks like a seed stitch scarf I sewed up from leftover squares she gave me before she passed on. Again, just love that center wine one!

Okay the red pops out at me but that wine one in the center has my heart, followed by the purple and pink striped one...such even edges and stitching...wow. What beautiful work and these will be very welcomed in South Africa. :)

Oh that pompom one on the left just stole my heart...but how pretty for a boy is that center one and the tiny flowers on the one on the right, so great for a little girl...and all of them do double duty as teaching tools as well as warm blanket…

Hello Stuart, Welcome to the Forum. Nice to have another man - we do have one or two. I see that you belong to a knitting group which seems to be becoming the thing to do now. If you have any queries someone on the site will always be happy to help - this is a very friendly and supportive community. Look forward to seeing some photos of your work perhaps?
