Hi Sue, Yes it is a lable "100 acrylic". I put one on the Izzy doll as well. I had fun making the boat. I've only tried intarsia a bit before. Thanks for the encouraging comment and yes, it's a nice green. I found 1 ball on sale and will look for more. Arlene
Thanks Sue! It is a great pattern, thanks to Mary Kristel :)
Sorry to hear you haven't been well,Sue. Just caught up with the news in one of the discussions today and as the post was nearly a week old, hopefully by now you are feeling much better.
Hello again Sue. I will upload a new photo of the squares I sent off today. Wool-Girl recovered from the exhausting photo shoot and was able to pose with the squares. She takes a great interest in every yarn that comes out of the bag. I am going to order some books at the $15.00 price tomorrow and take a copy of "The Balls of Wool" into a publishing house tomorrow if I can, to get a quote. They are real books and very high quality. I had some done at a cheap place to compare but I threw them in the bin. watch my space. Maudie
Hi Sue,
I tried loaded my page and got success then I entered your page via there and got through OK. I am referring to my message on my photo of the kite-makers.
The book "The Balls of Wool" is in print and the "Wool Girl has fun" is ready to upload. I get a good quality book from Apple - it is printed in Japan. What would someone pay for a children's book like that - they have 20 pages and are half of A4 size? It costs me $15.00 from Apple. I am thinking of going in to get a quote to have 500 printed in Hobart. I may be able to sell them via the KAS www.
Sue..do not worry about sending plain socks I have sent loads of them. I was so taken with these that is why I put the photograph on the site. A pair of socks plain or patterned will keep a childs feet warm. Congratulations on winning the Rugby World Cup....I bet New Zealand is now suffering from one large hangover !!!
Hi Sue, sending you Happy Birthday wishes !
Thanks for your comments about the baby yarn squares. I'm hoping they will be scattered among plain janes to brighten up quite a few blankets.
Enjoy your special day.
Linda x
