"All are lovely, but I especially like the colours and pattern in 65. Someone has been really patient too, in matching up and sewing together all those odd sized squares. Great to see that every square can be useful."
"HUGE CONGRATULATIONS, Wendy!!!! It only seems like yesterday (or maybe the day before) that you posted a photo and you were achieving your 3000th square. :))
You are a very generous and caring contributor, indeed. Thank you. xo
"I LOVE the bright, 'random' look, too, Wendy.......but my inner-symmetrical self is quietly relieved that there is, in fact, a very clever design. :))
I love reading your 'names' for your blankets, too.....makes me look and…"
"LOL Diana, I do think Fred would have some cousins living in the U.S. I just tried a search myself and although I didn't specifically see any in the U.S, I found some in China that are low cost and include shipping to other countrie. If you try…"
"Lovely Diana, I really like the colours in this beanie. Fred says he wished he could model for you too, at least as this hat is 'boy' colours (LOL). Perhaps you could purchase one of Fred's cousins? (I bought Fred on eBay)."
"Wow! Great to think how many children have been warmed by what used to be in these shelves. I have a few parcels in transit that will be arriving soon with completed blankets in that can be distributed right away. Hope they get there soon."
I am pleased that you are happy with the stitch. I will put a picture on for you. When it came to decreasing I knitted 1 st and then knitted 2tog on the first row to lose the extra stitch and it looks fine to me. KI will put a picture on for you to see it. I love your pattern and I am now knitting another one.
Hi Wendy, thanks for your kind comments on my squares. You are right, stitches included in the batch are, moss, slip stitch, oblique rib, honeycomb slip stitch, double Andalusian, waffle, block stitch, Zanny's and 4 row rib.
