I would like to continue to make the squares if anyone is able to mail them along with their squares. I am just not getting the hours at work. I live in Broome…See More

crocheting strips of squares

Posted on December 18, 2009 at 10:15am 11 Comments

Hello...I was thinking that this may help the sewers..If I crochet my 8" square and continue on with another color and work another 8" square and so making a strip of 4 or 5 squares, would this be ok? Maybe this has been discussed before but I don't remember..I thought this would make it easier on the ones who sew the squares together..If anyone else has ideas to streamline things, please let us all know..it just seems that making strips would be a help...I would appreciate any comments on this… Continue

Hi Deborah

Welcome to our warm KAS community. We hope you will enjoy the forum and your region's group. You should join the USA Group!

There are lots of great discussions going on in the forum, including the monthly challenges.

We are still continuing our July Challenge - keep a newborn warm, making blankets for abandoned babies, and there were some great results for the August in Africa challenge - you can see photographs under the photos menu. (Details of both challenges in the main forum). We're also continuing our September challenge which is also under "challenges" in the forum and have just begun the October challenge which is fascinating, please see click the link for further information:

Did you receive the latest ezine? If not you can view it here:

Thanks so much for your contribution already, look forward to being in contact soon.

Happy Knitting!

Kalai & Sandy
